The BLUE&GREEN consortium unites partners from Iceland, Austria and Greece with expertise in education, aquaponics, vertical farming and sustainable agriculture. Together, they are developing an interactive digital guide that combines technical knowledge with engaging learning tools, supporting students and educators in building a more sustainable future for food production.

HLUW Yspertal
HLUW Yspertal is a leading vocational education and training (VET) school specializing in environmental science, sustainability and water management. Known for its practical and future-focused approach to education, the school prepares students for careers in green industries through hands-on learning and innovation. Within BLUE&GREEN, HLUW Yspertal serves as the project coordinator and host of the project kick-off activities.
Ísponica
Ísponica is an Icelandic company focused on vertical farming, aquaponics and sustainable food production. Based in the rural community of Hofsós, Ísponica combines innovative indoor farming methods with education, sustainability and circular resource use. The company specializes in producing herbs, microgreens and fish in controlled-environment systems. In BLUE&GREEN, Ísponica leads the practical training activities and hosts the Icelandic mobility and hands-on workshops.


Fthia in Action
Fthia in Action is a youth-focused non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering young people through non-formal education, sustainability initiatives and community-based projects. With strong roots in rural development and environmental awareness, the organization has extensive experience in training and engaging youth across Europe. In BLUE&GREEN, Fthia in Action leads the development of the project guide, dissemination activities and the final multiplier event.
